Vale once continued anchoring for 14 minutes after the studio lights cut out, in total darkness, because the segment was not over. She does not editorialize. She does not exaggerate. She simply believes that a routine terms-of-service update is, in fact, the most important thing happening on Earth right now, and she is professionally obligated to tell you so.
